Tokyn Webstore Terms and Conditions

By placing an order with Tokyn using our website, you are agreeing to accept the terms & conditions set out on our website. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
Tokyn is an Australian based fashion label. All products and services displayed within the site are in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated. All product prices listed on the site are inclusive of a goods and services tax.

2.1 Orders

By placing an order with Tokyn you warrant that you are at least 18 years old or have parents’ permission to buy from us. The price applicable is that set at the date on which you place your order.

All transfers conducted through Tokyn are handled and transacted through third party dedicated gateways to guarantee your protection. Card information is transmitted over secure SSL encryption and is not stored. Please note that local charges may occur. Please read the terms and conditions for our payment gateway for the transaction as they are responsible for the transactions made.

 2.2 Shipping

Tokyn provides delivery worldwide.

Shipping costs and payment fees are recognized before confirming the purchase. Tokyn will not accept liability for shipping loss or damage of returned goods.

Tokyn will not provide any refunds for international duties, taxes or additional charges from your bank. For more information on reclaiming international duties and taxes, please contact your local customs bureau dependent on your region.

Orders received before 5pm AEST will be delivered the following business day in most cases. Deliveries are sent during normal business hours between Monday and Friday. Purchases made on weekends and public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

Upon completion of order, Tokyn will email you and provide you with the applicable postage delivery windows dependent on your region. Please note that delivery times may vary.

2.3 Returns

Merchandise in a saleable condition with all original tags attached may be exchanged or returned for a credit note only.

A refund will be given if there is a fault in the garment or it has been damaged during shipping. This policy is non-negotiable.

PLEASE NOTE: All markdown items, swimwear and intimates are final and cannot be returned for exchange or refund.

Returns or exchanges are accepted on goods within 7 days from the date of purchase in Australia. Items not received within this period will not be accepted.

For International purchases you have 7 days to notify service@tokyn.co and return your item(s) from the date you receive the package. Items not received within this period will not be accepted. Please clearly mark the package ‘RETURNED GOODS’, to avoid any Customs charges. Tokyn is not responsible for any return customs charges made. Any charges incurred are the responsibility of the customer.

Clients are responsible for the return shipping charges. If there was a mistake on behalf of Tokyn or in the case an item was faulty or damaged, the client will be reimbursed for the return shipping costs.

Return shipping must be sent via a prepaid and traceable method to ensure safe and documented delivery. Tokyn will take no responsibility for lost items by the fault of the shipping or postal company.

Refunds will be processed less shipping and duties as soon as possible however please allow up to 2 billing cycles for the refund to appear on your credit card statement.

Credits will be provided for exchanges via a Credit Voucher code which will be issued once return has been approved for credit. This voucher code is redeemable for 6 months after issue on the webstore.

Tokyn reserves the right to deny refunds if the merchandise does not meet our returns policy requirements once assessed.

2.4 Exchanges

The original shipping charges are not refundable and, if you are exchanging for an alternative item, a shipping charge will be applied.

How to Return or Exchange

Upon receiving the package, you will find enclosed your purchase, invoice and a Returns Authorisation Form. If for any reason you wish to exchange or return an item it must be returned with the Returns Form and the invoice that comes with your purchase.

Please email service@tokyn.co to obtain a Return Authorization Number (RA Number). Please indicate the reason for the return and if you require an exchange or a refund.

2.5 Gift Vouchers

All gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from the issue date unless stated otherwise. They are re-deemable only through Tokyn online boutique: www.tokyn.co

Gift vouchers are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or returned.

They cannot be exchanged for cash or used in any other way than originally intended.

All items purchased using a gift voucher are subject to the standard store policies as outlined under ‘Webstore Agreement.’
A store credit will be provided for any returned items purchased using a gift voucher.

Tokyn will not be responsible for any gift vouchers that are lost, stolen, destroyed or used without permission.

Promotion codes cannot be used in the purchase of gift voucher/s.

A gift voucher cannot be used to buy another gift voucher.

2.6 Pre Orders

Only selected products will be available for Pre-Order.

The expected delivery period will be noted in the description of the Product on our webstore. Please familiarise yourself with the following Pre-Order terms before completing your purchase:

- At the time you place your order, you will be required to pay the full RRP to secure your Pre-Order and confirmed shipping address.

- Due to the pre-sale nature of such transactions, you should expect a delayed period between the purchase of the product & the actual delivery of the product. Delivery dates are subject to change and our customer care team will be in touch should there be any unexpected delays with your order.

- Tokyn will email you once your order is ready for dispatch.

- Standard return & exchange policies apply to all pre-orders.

Additional Information

Tokyn reserves the right to amend any information, including but not limited to prices, technical specifications, terms of purchase and product offerings without prior notice. At the event of when a product is sold out, Tokyn has the right to cancel the order and refund any amount paid in the best way.
